A physical exam helps your Primary Care Provider to determine the general status of your health. The exam also gives you a chance to speak with your provider regarding any ongoing concerns that you are experiencing or concerns you might have.
A routine physical exam is recommended once a year, especially in people over 50.
We check for possible conditions that can be treated early, identify issues that may become problems in the future, ensure that you are maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine, and update your medical record. More importantly it gives you time to build a relationship with your Provider.
